This is our third and last full day in New Zealand. We've been pretty lucky with the weather but this post will show how quickly things can change. First day in Dunedin (above): sunny and a little chilly but basically perfect. Note the surfer out there . . .
This morning (our last day): rain predicted but a beautiful morning sky. We have a train trip to Taieri Gorge for the AM, hopefully avoiding the rain that's coming in the afternoon.
Just as the train was getting back into Dunedin, the rain started. This is just one of the bridges built over the Taieri Gorge. Pictures of that trip are in the previous post.
This is the ocean now, just a few hours after that beautiful morning view. No surfers now, but we did see a couple of guys loading up their ocean going kayaks. It must have been a rollercoaster out there. We'll spend our last evening in New Zealand all cozy in our room watching the ever changing moods of this beautiful place. We started in the north island and even went swimming while in Algies Bay. Now, we're at the other end of the country, just about as far south as you can go. Kia Ora.
