Southwest Road Trip |
VacationsFrom the moment we started down the Red Rock Canyon toward Sedona from Flagstaff we were in magic land. The walls of the canyon were so close and colorful. Lots of interesting formations, majestic in size. The nature surrounding Sedona is spectacular but the town is a little disappointing. The old town seems to exist to house row after row of T shirt and jewelry shops and the tour busses bring hordes in to buy the merchandize. We escaped the town early and went for an all day hike up the West Fork Trail. I'll post some pictures. At the end of the day, we headed for Flagstaff, only a 30 minute drive. We will drive to Santa Fe tomorrow.
