NZ: Walking Wellington
This beautiful view of the city is from the top of the cable car that runs up to the beautiful, bountiful Botanical Garden. It's a little cloudy and breezy today but perfect for a walk in the park. Our hotel is just across from the bottom of the park where there is a historic cemetery with several old buildings, saved and restored: a church, a rectory and another residence nestled in amongst the skyscrapers.
NZ: All's Well in Wellington
The Wellington waterfront was a buzz of activity on this beautiful Saturday. There was a huge music festival going on (Home Grown) and kids enjoying being kids. So fun! We spent the day exploring the (free) Museums and generally enjoying the waterfront fun.

Early morning on the patio of our room at the Crown Hotel in Ahuriri (Napier) New Zealand, we are just about to leave for our drive to Wellington. We are so fortunate to have beautiful weather so far.
