When we met in 1994 the idea of having our own website was pure fantasy. Yes, the internet was up and running but using it hadn’t become a significant part of our day.

We met through a dating service which relied on the US mail and telephone landlines. Online dating was a thing of the future. The dating service was the best alternative to looking at the Sunday paper’s singles want ads. Miracles do happen with persistence and goals in mind. We both wanted a partner to share and explore with for the rest of our lives. It happened.

So many good times are recorded and locked inside our computer’s photo app. Will we ever look at these photos again? Probably not. In 2010 we took a road trip to the Southwest and did a blog. Since then the idea of a website to keep those memories fresh and sharable kept percolating. This is the result.
